Severe Acne or Advanced Rosacea:
SHOP THIS SKIN TYPE

This is for people who have lots of active acne on much of the face, or very red rosacea with visible broken capillaries. If you have only a few occasional blemishes, very mild pink coloration, or one or two broken capillaries, please see our advice for Normal to Oily and Combination Skin.

While many cases of acne are caused by hormonal changes, often acne is caused or worsened by using products that dry up oil and blemishes, instead of gently cleaning and healing them. Change the way you treat your face, and watch how quickly your skin will clear.

Rosacea is a medical condition that has no cure, but its symptoms of redness and acne can be effectively treated. Many cases of rosacea are misdiagnosed. Quite often redness is your skin's way of telling you it is being treated too harshly. Stop the strong medications, the aggressive anti-aging treatments and the products designed to dry up blemishes and you'll be amazed at how quickly the redness and breakouts disappear and don't come back. Poof, no more rosacea symptoms! Even if you do have an actual case of rosacea, Simone France is an excellent choice of skin care for you to reduce redness and clear up acne.

Here's why most people with acne and/or rosacea symptoms find their skin gets worse over time and can't seem to find anything that works -- and why Simone France will work for you. Mouse over to find out more...

1. Stop using drying products 2. The Oil-Free Myth

In the attempt to rid your skin of redness, blemishes and excess oil, you have most likely over-dried it with harsh, aggressive products. Perhaps you have used Retin-A or strong rosacea prescriptions like metronidazole. All of these dry out and irritate the skin, causing it to redden and creating a coarse, dry surface. Sensing the dryness that has been imposed on it, your skin produces more oil to compensate. The more you try to treat it with foaming gels, oil-free products and strong exfoliants and medications, the more irritated and redder the skin becomes, and the thicker the dry surface. As a result the skin produces more and more oil to soothe itself. The oil can’t flow through the hard surface so it gets trapped underneath, where it hardens and clogs the pores. Bacteria thrive in this environment, and eventually cause blemishes and cysts.

Contrary to popular belief, oil-free products do not make skin less oily – in fact they make it even more oily. Oil-free products are completely water-based, which means that they quickly evaporate completely from your skin, drying out the surface and leaving it unprotected. Your skin only produces more of its natural oil to compensate. On the other hand, if you clean gently so as not to strip the skin, and then apply a treatment product with a very small amount of oil, it will remain on the skin to soothe it, and calm your skin’s overactive oil glands because they will no longer have any need to work overtime.

Simone France treats acne and redness not by drying the skin, but by gently cleaning and healing it. Thousands of women have used the Simone France system and immediately found the redness and acne gone.

Tip for Acne and Rosacea Skin

Avoid using foundation and especially powder as they contribute to the same problems they cover up. Powder sticks in the pores, dries the surface, and the applicators are unsanitary after the first use. Give up the cover ups and you’ll see results much faster, and never need them again.
